From Sicily to Melbourne - A Cheese Story
Giorgio Linguanti’s journey began in a small Sicilian shop selling regional delicacies, sparking his interest in food. After working in local cheese factories, he found his true calling in cheesemaking.
In 2004, Giorgio arrived in Melbourne from Sicily without speaking a word of English. Just four years later, he launched That’s Amore Cheese, a business born from passion, persistence, and a love for artisan food.
In 2008, he introduced his first product, Bocconcini Leaf, which quickly became a favorite among Melbourne’s Italian restaurants.
Today, That’s Amore Cheese is celebrated for its award-winning, handmade cheeses like Burrata and Mozzarella, crafted with tradition, passion, and a whole lot of love.
